Global Issues Require Global Solutions

 


The pandemic of Covid-19 is a threat to every countries health sector and economy. It has imposed huge threat to overall business and trade and can continue to affect the overall economic and business model if not quenched properly. There is a need to lessen the effect of pandemic for surviving such crucial conditions. For Instance, the U.S government have imposed set of rules and laws to tackle the situation of pandemic. Certain rules are introduced state wise to fight the unpredictable spread of virus. The impositions by the U.S Government in different states are mentioned below:

State Quarantine Order – Ohio:

In March 2020 the Ohio State Governor Mike DeWine imposed restrictions on the locomotion and made it mandatory to stay in homes to avoid any disastrous outcomes of this pandemic. He also stated that nobody can leave their homes but only in case of great emergency for limited time with following all the precautionary measures. On 7th July the Quarantine Orders are extended due to increase in number of patients.

State Evictions Halting Orders – Illinois:

The Governor of Illinois J.B Pritzker issued an order to halt the eviction proceedings within the State. The Order of Eviction is extended till November 2020.

Declaration of State Emergency – Montana:

The Declaration of State Emergency by the Governor of Montana proved to be helpful infighting against the pandemic of Covid-19.

Special Funding – Arizona:

The special funding which was consumed on housing and business is now shifted to respond immediately to the crucial conditions which arise due to pandemic. The fund once used for the welfare of whole population is now to be spent on the patients of Covid-19.   

One of the solution to the situation is to spend most of the funds only and only on the patients of Covid-19 in order to fight the pandemic and the other solution is to make Quarantine Policy effective in order to facilitate the patients of Covid-19 worldwide. Staying in home should be encouraged on Global Level as well as State Level to avoid the spread of Covid-19.
